I do smoothies with chia & flax in the morning. Fills me up without messing with iron. 🍓🍵

Berries, oat milk, flax, a little cacao—tastes great & no excess iron!

I just started using the Custom HH Meal Plan, and it actually adjusts based on iron levels. Makes life SO much easier!

Yep! It even factors in if you’re doing phlebotomy or not! 🚀

Some days I feel like HH has hijacked my emotions. One minute I’m fine, then suddenly I’m irritable or anxious for no reason. Could iron overload be messing with my mood? 🧠💥

YES! I feel way more emotional when my iron is high. 🤯 👍

I’ve wondered the same thing. Could iron affect how our brain works?

I never thought about it before, but my worst moods happen when my iron is at its highest.

Iron overload affects hormones, inflammation, and overall health. It makes sense that it would affect mental health too!

I used to think I was just moody, but once I started phlebotomy, I felt way more stable.

Does anyone else get random nerve pain with HH? My hands and feet feel tingly sometimes, and I don’t know if it’s related. 🤔

I get this too! Iron deposits in nerves could be messing with us. 🧠 👍

I have the bronzing bad. I do use white towels, because I like to bleach them. It looks like I have self-tanner on, and it’s embarrassing. It never goes away, it is worse when my levels are up, but it’s consistent. Anyone get that or the gray? I have never heard anyone talk about the gray.

If HH messes with digestion, should I be doing gut healing too? My stomach feels off all the time. 😩

YES. Gut health affects iron absorption. Bone broth & fermented foods help. 🥣 👍

Iron changes your gut bacteria too. I had to add probiotics, and it made a big difference!

Coconut water, a little sea salt, and protein right after. 🏋️‍♂️

Green tea or black tea 🍵—which one do you use to block iron absorption? I’m trying to be more strategic with my meals.

Green tea for me! EGCG helps bind iron and prevent absorption. 🍵🔥 👍
